Spirit of Steel show
Two things, folks.
1. I need someone to tell me what motel I should get reservations for to attend the Spirit of Steel Show in September. Cheap and fairly close. I'll have a rent car. My Mom will be there too. We'll have a table and hope to see you there. 2. When's the next newsletter coming out?

Don, I'll check with my wife, she does all the travel arrangements for her company and their customers so she should be able to pick it up quickly. What do you consider a cheap rate?

Cheaper than the hotel where the show is held. A regular motel. No extras. We'll only sleep there.

FYI, Spirit of Steel is September 29 ? October 1 this year. Hotel options: Comfort Suites DFW North ? Grapevine 1.9 miles from SOS site $85/night Complimentary airport shuttle and breakfast Super 8 Grapevine DFW Airport North 2.4 miles from SOS site $70/night Complimentary breakfast Courtyard by Marriott DFW Airport North 2.4 miles from SOS site $79/night Complimentary airport shuttle Harvey Suites Hotel (3 stars) 2.8 miles from SOS site $74/night (with a 3 week advance purchase) Complimentary breakfast and wi-fi Baymont Inn & Suites DFW Airport 3 miles from SOS site $81/night Complimentary breakfast, wi-fi and airport shuttle Super 8 Irving DFW North 5 miles from SOS site $50/night Complimentary breakfast and airport shuttle All of the hotels are within walking distance of restaurants, so if they choose one with an airport shuttle, they could get by with a cab to and from the show. If they want a rental, they can expect to pay about $20 ? 25/day for an economy car. The parameters were clean and someplace to sleep. No reply
I sent in my table reservation form along with the money to cover it 3 or 4 weeks ago.
They haven't confirmed the reservation. Nada. I've noticed that the show is never listed on the show schedule sites here or anywhere else. Anybody know what's going on with the Spirit Of Steel show? Have any of you reserved a table? Jim, the newsletter was great. Thanks to you for doing an excellent job with that.

Thanks, really wasn't much to it outside of placing the articles on the page. I'm waiting for it to be posted on the TKCA website so I can forward the link to the persons who participated in my articles but aren't members.
