Question North Texas Knifemakers Get-Together

A few have mentioned wanting to get together regularly. There are quite a few of us here.
Pat and I thought we'd get the ball rolling by finding out what y'all would be interested in doing. (Even the transplanted Texans are welcome.)

I have a huge property and pretty large shop. Just brainstorming here. I think it would be great to get something going.

Do we want to meet once a month? Rotate the meeting place? I realize not everyone might have the room for a large group.

Let me know what you think.

Sounds Great Geno. I for one am interested. I was really impressed at the way the one in arkansas was conducted at Al Lawrences place. As for where to have I have no suggestion there. I don't have a shop yet. But count me in, and I'll help out anyway I can.

Quite a few of us will be at the Mesquite Show. Maybe we can get together at my and get some ideas going about when and where.

You'll going to allow Whackos from Waco to attend?? Not from N. TX, but Central TX, give or take a 100 miles.

Hey Ken, you're only 75 miles north of me as well. There's four of us down here in Bryan/College Station. I'd love to get some regular meets together.

Thumbs up

That sounds great Don. I would genuinely like to get to know the other makers here in TX. Don't pound much anymore, but enjoy the get together and learning. Hopefully you will have your hammerin when the temps start dropping.
