Japanese Style Tanto
This is a tanto I just finished up. It is 1095 tool steel, rayskin, micarta, and a garnet mekugi. Left the habaki off of this one so I would not loose blade length, I wish now I had added it. The seppa is copper and the saya is popular wood. I used some antler for the kurikata. Let me know what I need to do to improve ( I know my photo taking needs improvement. Thanks

Thanks Alberto and BeeBee.
BeeBee, Everyone is doing great. Been a wet summer and I have been in a wetsuit more than once. Kids are fine. Have not been very good to write, but I will shoot you off an email soon. How are the Boys and Mama? NT |
