It's not 5 pm Pacific yet.....I had a flat tire, the dog ate my homework, I didn't know it was loaded, the devil made me do it, it's not my fault! Or, any other excuse that you might be willing to accept.

See you in about an hour and a half ...

I'm trying to join you guys for once. The dang screen just seems to lock up while loading or it's loading so slow as to not be perceptable to the human eye. I'll keep trying for awhile.

Sorry Marc, but the world seems to revolve around me (at least, my world does). Both Marc and Rick , and Lee (pigmom), Eli, Teddy, Rob, all showed up last night and we yammered away for about 5 hours (which made it 1 a.m. in Marc's time zone!).

We had a good time and maybe solved a few problems or at least provided some direction for possible solutions. We'll do it again next Sunday night at 5 pm Pacific (8 pm Eastern) and we hope more of you will be able to join us, everybody's welcome. Also, I'm happy to open the room at any other day and time that anyone requests so don't hesitate to ask....

If there's a conversation going on I'm likely to hang out and yammer on, weather I can be helpful or not.

Many people have reported that same issue, others had no problems at all. I would guess it has something to do with your location and the servers between you and Paltalk. Or, it might be that the widget on the webpage works in a way that is simple but not optimal.

You might try downloading the Paltalk software itself. It's not terribly large and it might work better. That doesn't mean it will be without problems....some days we can talk and other days we have to type, nothing is perfect but the software is likely a little more dependable than the widget ...

First I tried opening the chat with IE on the desk top with XP and it locked. Then tried the vista / IE on the laptop and got to the log in. I wanted to know why the desk top wouldn't load and tried lots more there. I finally used Google Chrome on the desktop and it went straight thru.
Maybe it will help some having trouble to either use a different browser or maybe try opening IE without add-ons.

Y'all going to be on this sunday night? If so I hope y'all find something interesting to stick around for a bit and I'll try to hop on when my shift is over (around 11:30). I would have tried to make it earlier but between school, work, and computer issues I wasn't able to come on the forum even.

That and I'm a bit absent minded..
