What's your suggestion on finishing this?
I've done it by laser cut till this point. What's your suggestion on its handle and blade. What about that bulged part that I think it may be good for the point finger to stay behind it and make's holding it better. Is it good or not? Thank you! Glad to I've goined this community. Looks like all you have is a profiled knife that needs to be ground on the outside to smooth out and you need to grind the knife bevels and drill the holes in the handle. In other words you need to do everything to it. I would start by marking where my bevels go, but I'm guessing you don't know how to grind the bevels?
Also what kind of steel is it? Since you laser cut it all the edges will be hard to a depth of a 64th inch or so which is why I said to grind the profile and smooth it out. Last edited by jimmontg; 12-18-2018 at 04:12 PM. |
