Thanks Ricky! I had to help a friend do an engine swap all weekend. I should be done my knife tonight. I'm going to try really hard to get a sheath made tomorrow after work.

Mine is done. I really want to make a sheath for it but it might take me a couple days. Is that ok with you guys? Did you make a sheath for your Ricky?

I hate to admit it, but I decided to put the KITH knives I was working on on the back burner while final exams were going on. As such I've not got the finish work on them completed, they are about 65-70% finished right now.

Considering my time constraints and where I need to put my focus I'm going to have to bow out of the KITH, I'm terribly sorry.

I think I will ship mine with a Kydex sheath. If you need a few days to finish a sheath Thats Ok by me. So is there just 3 of us?

Hmm maybe I will try kydex! Is it fairly straight forward like the videos make it seem? I believe it was just the three of us that did any progress shots so I wouldn't doubt if we're the only ones left.

My Entry:

1084 steel treated to 59RC. OAL approx 13.5".

The handle is cocobolo fastened with 2 corby bolts and a mosaic pin. The pin is one of the most complimented features... I find that funny considering the work it takes to buy one, glue it, and cut it vs profiling, heat treating, bevelling, polishing, and sharpening the blade.

The sheath is a veg-tanned leather... I can't remember the thickness but I think it's around 6oz or so. Maybe 3-4mm... whatever that works out to.

I put far more time and effort into this knife (and my entry in the Anything Goes KITH) than I have on any previous knife. Thank you so much for the opportunity to present this blade to a deserving participant in this KITH.

The one thing I ask is for any feedback, good or bad, so I can keep improving on my work.

Metal, Kydex couldn't be simpler.

so we have 4? How about I put all 4 names in a hat and have my son draw them out? Each person sends to person who's name is drawn after and last name sends to first? Everyone oK with that?
