01 Tool steel/cow bone knife

01 Tool steel with cow bone handle. Black and yellow spacers. The knife had a slight twist in the handle so it was a little tough getting the bone to fit correctly. I learned a lot using bone and I will now attack it a little different next time.

Looks good but a nice knife like that needs a maker's mark to really be finished ...

Thanks. I am working on the makers mark. I am not sure what I want to do exactly. I will have a mark of some type before they are delivered.

Nice job. The thing that I learned about working with bone is that it reeks and it's hard to get an even stain on. It's a job that's best done outside the house.
