G10 supply?

Heya guys don't know if this is the right place or not but I was curious if anyone knew where to get Black G10 in 1/2" or larger thicknesses. Most of the supplier only have it in up to 1/4 or 3/8th". Anyone have a good source for this? Thanx guys.

Try Alpha Knife Supply......(Chuck Bybee) He had some "bowie blocks" of black G-10 at the NW Hammer-In. http://www.alphaknifesupply.com/

A few points - G10 is readily available at places that manufacture electrical insulation materials around the world. But large sizes and lower prices are only available if you are buying several hundred lbs at a time... I haven't found any company wanting to deal reasonably yet...

Because G10 has an epoxy base, you can stack existing thicknesses with a good (2tonne) epoxy and get equivalent strength, with an invisible joint line. Even stack different colours if thats your thing. Jason.

Hmm, stacking G10 that makes ideas form in my head, thanks Jason. I suppose it should be pressed together to make a secure joint or something.
