Straight flush

I was trying something a little different here. I wanted a handle that would lay in the hollow of the palm for powerful thrusting movements. There is a lot of handle here for a good grip with a large hand. Blade is 4" 01 and the handle 5" with Desert Bocote and Micarta spacers. There was a thread the other day regarding putting bolsters instead of a guard with a hidden tang. I've made quite a few like that lately. The bolster is 416 SS and I actually remembered to use a 416 pin instead of Nickle Silver like I did in my last two knives with ss bolsters. What do you think??

Thanks for any comments.

Looking good, Fred! The blade is just the right size for an all-around blade. I just love the handle. Great use of material. Keep em coming!

Thanks for the comments guys. Dave, I hadn't thought about joining the FKA or going to the Tampa show but now that you mention it I might check it out. How can I get some info.
Thanks.

Thanks Wayne: Bocote is one of my favorites. Much of it is very common but when you get a nicely figured piece it is a real treasure.
