Cross Draw
Hi guys,
After seeing what's been posted lately (Paul's) made me a little hesitant to post mine , but I can learn if someone doesn't point out what's wrong. It's a right-handed cross draw. Any comments welcomed, Jim |

Nice...very nice
Jim: This is a beauty. The design is outstanding. I wish I could dream up designs like this. Part pouch, part full welt, very secure and the workmanship is really good. I"d be proud to have my stamp on this one.

Paul,
Thanks for the praise. Unfortunately I can't take credit for the design; I got this from a magazine. Leatherworkers and Saddlemakers Journal I think. I appreciate the complement, especially after I was talking on the phone with a dealer and getting his feedback on a knife of mine and what I need to do to improve it. The first thing he said is get someone else to make my sheaths. Having held several Sandy has made for me and seen the pictures around here of yours, Chucks, Mike T, Mountain Mike, and others I can see his point. I work at making knives and leave the leather to the experts. Jim Last edited by Drac; 08-10-2005 at 08:13 AM. |
