Wire Inlay (Help!)
Does anyone know of a tutorial on doing wire inlay? I would like to inlay a pattern into linen or canvas based Micarta. I have never done this before and have no clue how. Also, I don't know if the Micarta lends itself to this sort of thing or does it behave differently than wood? Any help greatly appreciated!

|
wire inlay in wood handle pictures
will show you how to do it in wood. I just don't think you can do it in Micarta, you couldn't get the tolerance close enough for a tight fit.
