What knife is this?

I have found this folded knife (8 cm ~3.15 inches long): https://goo.gl/photos/giUhpKqfcxXEMUJcA

It looks very similar to a Bayer medical knife (without the Bayer logo): http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bayer-Medici...52368751&rt=nc

Does anyone know this knife, and possibly what it is worth?

Thanks

Try asking Bernard, he's pretty good.

The reason you haven't gotten a response is that this is not really a collectors forum, but a makers forum. If you'd like a custom knife made, you could find a talented maker here, but we don't really collect or ID old maufactured knives. The knife world publication would be a good resource for you. There is a listing if collector groups in the back.

Good luck!

Talking To Farkus

Hello Farkus. My monniker here is jimmontg or jim for short. When you say "damask" I presume you mean Damascus steel? I make that as well as many many other makers on this forum. Go through the photo album to look at the different styles. We will all be happy to help you, but learn to start your own thread. Scroll down on the home page and click on "newbies" and at the top on the far left it says NEW THREAD, click on that and go to town.
