Exclamation New materials..

Hi
Did some shopping.Very fun.Some questions.
How do i work with mammoth molars?
This is a new material for me so i don?t want to make a mess.
So any tip would be helpful for me.

Are they stabilized? I've heard horror stories from a person who bought some mammoth slabs, put them away for 6 months until he was ready to use them, and pull them out to find they had crumbled. . .
