I have been using one to shot my knives in, I am sort of not liking it. The 2 lights they send with it are no where near bright enough, I have added 2 more lights to it from above and I still think I need one more light. The lights I added are to of the 250 watt photo bulbs, before that I used 2 flourecents that are 90 watt daylight. I will post a picture in a bit when the wife gets off the program (aperture).

I have not tried it either and prefer to use my own setup. It is too easy to come up with your own to justify buying one pre-made.

Absolutely not.

Certainly not for knives.

For the same price or less re-read the sticky post on top of this forum. MUCH better results.
