Redheart Skinner

Here is a Knife I made in the last few days. This one is completely my design. I made the handle larger than usual (For people with Big Hands) and the Blade kinda smaller, so it gives you some leverage. As usual it's 1095 steel (HT by me)
The scales are "Redheart". Overall length is 8 1/4"...Blade Length is 3 3/4""...The scales are 4 1/2".....Hope y'all like it. Thanks for Looking.

ps. Can you believe the snow in Alabama??

Frank

Well done.

I can appreciate the larger handle, good thinking. Big things are easier for big paws to hang onto!

I like that longer handle also.
nice style, how was the red heart to work with.
I heard the other day on the news that every state except
Florida had some kind of snow.
Keep up the great work.

Nice work Frank! Man that redheart looks great!

I myself have been going with longer handles as well. It seems that 4" was always right on the end of my palm. So now I consistently go with 4.5". Seems to fit my mits a lot better.

Thanks, for all the kind comments... John, Redheart is real
easy to work with, about medium hardness. But get ready
for the fine red dust everywhere
