Most Sundays I am in the chat room, but tomarrow evening the boys and I will be playing for the owner of a local brewery for his annual goat/pig feed.. It's ok though, I always feel once I sign on in the chat I end up hijacking and just talking to Ray about my forge build, and or guitar talk.... I'll give you guys a chance in my absence...

Hi Eli,
Beautiful work. I am going to try two different contrasting woods for the scales. Any tips on joining these different woods together? Epoxy or waterproof wood glue? Do you prepare the surfaces in any way to hold more adhesive? Hidden tiny holes, hidden grooves, etc.
Thanks!
Dan

Very nice and clean. Tight joints, everything lines up.
