New Folder (automatic)

Well I started this knife last week and just finished it up today. I had started another folder and was stabilizing the mammoth ivory so while the stabilizer dried I started this knife. I will go back to work on the first one tomorrow.

This knife has a 3 in blade made of Delbert Ealy Twist Damascus. Flat ground with a false edge on top. The front and rear bolsters are Ealy basket weave mosaic damascus. Scales are Grade A white pearl. The latch is Peter Martin candystripe damascus. Blue anodized titanium liners with a very tight and fine vine pattern running all around. The screws and backbar are also fully fileworked with 2 white pearl inlays in the backbar. Titanium leaf spring that has been anodized gold. No blade wobble at all!! Overall length is 6-5/8 in.
Thanks for looking,
Chuck

Good looking knife, Chuck! Auto's? This sounds like fairly new territory for you. Excellent. Who are you working from or with on your mechanisms? That stuff doesn't come easily learned.

Your work is still much better than your pictures, but I'm preaching once again!

Good luck with that. See you soon,

Coop

Very cool. I love the style. The whole look is great. I'll bet the action is pretty slick, too.
