who made this knife?

Can anyone help me out with this??
I received a made in Montana knife for Christmas,
NB appeared to be etched on the blade,
anyone know who made the knife?

Buster,

There are no knifemakers listed that have the initials NB from Montana. See for yourself in THIS LINK OF MAKERS.

Welcome to the CKD. You might have a fine kit knife that someone simply put they're initials on and are only a hobbiest.

Well, that's far from being an exhaustive list. According to that list, there's no knifemaker named Primos in Louisiana. I also noticed that there are no knifemakers at all in Michigan. Wonder what Don Cowles, Jim Luce, Lora Sue Bethke, etc., would think about that?

Yes, that list seems to be lacking. I only know of a handful of makers here in MO., and only one of those are shown there. Maybe those are just the ones that deal w/cutting edge..?
