I need specs/dimensions on the knife for the HT KITH as well, they're not up on the original thread anymore.

It's fine by me if you all want to build complete knives and exchange them, just so long as they feature sharp, clean grind lines. We can use the same process as last time. But, if you would rather just submit a finished blade you'll still be eligible for the prize because that is based strictly on the success of your grind.

Marc,

I've added the pattern to the first post in the HT thread ...

If I submit anything it will be an entire knife. What about you Eli?

Same. Just my opinion, but if you don't finish it, it doesn't count. Its just practice.

OK, I admire y'alls spunk so tell you what I'm gonna do: I'll add something to the 'prize' pile for every finished knife submitted to the KITH. We'll do the knife swap as usual PLUS every entrant will get to pick a freebie from the prize pile - picking order will be according to how all of you as a group judge the knives, same as last time.

How's that sound?

Fuzzy,

As far as I'm concerned, you could providing you also make a blade to submit. Maybe we'll do some kind of co-operative KITH later. For now, seems like everyone wants to build complete knives for this project and that's fine by me. I hope you'll get in on this one. Don't forget to do a blade for the HT KITH and send that to me if you haven't already done one (no need to finish that one into a complete knife) ....

Nothing noted on what width should be, any guidelines I should be looking at? I want to stay in the same area as the others that have submitted knives for this and the other KITH.

Really? I thought I had something on there for that. Anyway, about an inch wide, a little more - it can easily be made from 1 1/4" wide stock...
