Flint River Knife Show-----Atlanta Area 17th annual

February 23 & 24th. 2002
____________________
This show will be sponsored by the FLINT RIVER KNIFE CLUB and pormoted byGEORGIA MOUNTAIN PRODUCTIONS in conjunction with their gun show. We expect 100 plus knife tables. Awards will be given for both factory and custom knives and collections. Suppliers will also be there(Ronnie Wilson and Rade Hawkins)Terrell Hoffman will be there to do photographs and the wild one ALEX to represent Atlanta Virtual.
Each year the club has some members to do a joint knife to raffel off in order to raise money for the club. This year Ed Halligan made and ground a 6-1/4" Damascus blade fighter. Ed is a ABS Master smith and a long time guild member. The knife was then turned over to Wayne Hensley, who did the guard and handle. The knife was then turned over to Fred Henderson who did the deep relief engraving on the guard and front and rear bolsters. The knife is now in my possion and I will make the sheath. The club will sell a maximum of 200 tickets@$10.00 each and the drawing will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday just before the show closes. Last year all the tickets were sold before noon on the opening day of the show. You don't have to be present to win and if any one wants to get a ticket let me know. We will be printing 200 numbered tickets very soon---they will go fast. I will post a photo of the knife as soon as I can get set up to do itSHOW TABLES ARE $60.00 EACH----LOCAL MOTELS ARE FROM$35.00 TO $70.00 PER DAY

Sandy, The show will be at the Atlanta event center located approx.20 miles south of Atlanta just off I-75---EXIT 221 0FF I-75 AND FOLLOW SIGNS IT IS ONLY A SHORT DISTANCE FROM THE EXIT.The show opens to the public at 9 a m Saturday 2-23-02. Look for the huge American flag--The building is located at the flag. Don I will hold you a ticket. I will send it to you as soon as they are printed. Robert I thought you had a table for the show---You need to get one, And yes Alex will be there even if I have to drag him---We will not accept any substitute. Only the originals
