Well, can't really beat the KMG as my favorite too, so here's my second favorite (besides my forge/anvil/hammer:

BTW, you'll really like your KMG a LOT more if you put something like this on it:

Variable setup

Thats an awesome looking horizontal grinder Darren.
There are so many cool tools that I'd love to have and a Horizontal grinder is one of them.

I agree about the variable speed . Although I'm able to change between 3 speeds easiliy with the step pulley set up.
The variable is in my future, its just a matter of how long away that is. I've found some good prices on electric motors but I'm not sure what type of other equipment is needed. More research on my part needed bafore I make the step up.

Hi Tim, Not my design, it's the Rob Frink horizontal grinder...money well spent imho.

For the variable speed controller, Rob Frink is selling a nice controller now...he wasn't carrying them when I got all of mine, otherwise I would have bought them from him...gotta support people in our own support business, otherwise they won't be around!

I'll have to say that my new Paragon KM-14D is my most recent favorite. Sure beats the hell out of guesswork.
