Rick Mohr Knives
Bought these two from Rick Mohr Knives while in Gatlinburg, Tennessee over the Thanksgiving holiday. Well made and beautiful, they were the last things I expected to see while tagging along with the wife at a craft show.
Cocobolo scales, 1083 steel, and hair shaving sharp. Stock removal method, made from worn out industrial saw blades. In addition to the quality pieces themselves, my experience with Rick was phenomenal. When I got home to Florida, I noticed a minor flaw in the larger of the two, and figured I'd shoot him an email about it just to let him know. Without hesitation, he asked me to send it back so he could make it right, which he did inside of a week. Not only did he communicate via email, he called me directly to let me know it was done and on it's way back... AND that he threw in a nifty little neck knife with a kydex sheath for my trouble. Needless to say, I was EXTREMELY pleased, not just with his product, but also his fantastic customer service. They didn't come with the leather, I made the sheaths myself. |
