Romans invented the "Swiss Army" knife.
Ok I admit it; I do my handwork in front of the TV. But at least its not sit-coms (yech!).
So a little bit ago I was watching an episode of "What the Romans Did for Us". And on it they flashed an interesting artifact. One the likes of which I have never seen before.
It was a Roman folding knife, with a few extras. On the end opposite the blade pivot was a hinged piece that was a fork on one end and a spoon on the other. Also on the side of the frame opposite the blade, the knife featured an ear spoon, a tooth pick and one other unknown tool, that all folded out.
I have written the BBC but I don?t honestly expect much help from that quarter. So does anyone on this forum know of said artifact? Or can someone direct me to another, similar artifact?
