Thanks, everybody.

Frank, how's your knee doing?

Curtis, I hope your shoulder is recovering well.

Don,

How are you doing? Got into the shop this morning and you were on my mind.

Ed, I'm doing just fine. No pain now, getting around OK. The anesthetic has all worn off, so I feel alert this morning.

My bowels have started working normally after having a big piece cut out.

I took a little walk in the sun with my Mom yesterday.

So, all I need is a few more days of good meals and exercise to build my strength back up.

It's good for you to get into the shop and do what you do so well. That'll help keep your mind off your problem.

Guys, thanks for all your prayers for me. Now let's all redirect our prayers for Ed.

Ed, you've done your part toward finding out what is wrong with you. Now just let the Drs. do their thing. You're in a loving God's hands.

Thanks, Ryan.

I'm all healed up. That's over, thanks to my Doctors and my faith in God.

Now we're all pulling for Ed Caffrey. He has a ways to go.

Hello All. I'm so very pleased to hear you are healing so well! I'm sure the Montana Bladesmith will just need a bit more recovery time before he's doing more of his great work . I believe this knee replacement has gone a lot better than the last one for me. In fact I'm back in the shop as much as I wish. I'm going to hope we all continue to improve and will say a prayer right now to that end . Frank

Hello everybody.

I'm very glad to report that I've fully recovered, and I feel so much better than I have for years!

For the last several months I'd been thinking I'd never again be able to work in the shop enough to make folding knives.

I've finished a folder and am looking forward to making more after the first of the year.

So don't listen to anyone who says the old man is dead.

I don't intend to take orders again but I'll be building knives forever, I hope.

I'm Baaaccck!!!

From what I read here, Ed's back too! I'm so glad of that. Go gettum, Ed!

Thank God, family and friends for small miracles.
