I think there is some confusion on those two email based discussion lists. I'm not familiar with Knife-List. I was on TKC-L, The Knife Collectors List. It was originally formed by Rich Ball and one other collector, then later sold to Brian Turner. Brian let it go about 2 years ago. The names I recognize from Don's list in the previous post are:
Cowles Fitzgerald Barr Stout Ralph Broadwell Alexander (I think) Prior David __________________ Broadwell Studios LLC Fine Art Knives & Writing Instruments http://www.david.broadwell.com |

TKC-L came later. And several of us participated in both. You were probably only a teenager then, David.
By the way, I Googled the "-List" and the word Knife isn't there any more. There are lots of others still active, though, including (IIRC) the Gun-List, of which I was also a member. I know the Knife-List was hosted on a private server. I thought that was a generous thing to do. Now we have the free Knet forums hosted on Alex's private servers with all these neat features. Kudos to Alex Whetsell. |

Thanks for the additions, Curtis. I'm so old now I can't even remember my father's name.
Tank was all over the place, as he used to be here on Knet. |
