I think there is some confusion on those two email based discussion lists. I'm not familiar with Knife-List. I was on TKC-L, The Knife Collectors List. It was originally formed by Rich Ball and one other collector, then later sold to Brian Turner. Brian let it go about 2 years ago. The names I recognize from Don's list in the previous post are:
Cowles
Fitzgerald
Barr
Stout
Ralph
Broadwell
Alexander (I think)
Prior

TKC-L came later. And several of us participated in both. You were probably only a teenager then, David.

By the way, I Googled the "-List" and the word Knife isn't there any more. There are lots of others still active, though, including (IIRC) the Gun-List, of which I was also a member.

I know the Knife-List was hosted on a private server. I thought that was a generous thing to do.

Now we have the free Knet forums hosted on Alex's private servers with all these neat features. Kudos to Alex Whetsell.

Thanks for the additions, Curtis. I'm so old now I can't even remember my father's name.

Tank was all over the place, as he used to be here on Knet.
