forged jewellery
hey guys,
Recently forged some hair pins and hangers from construction steel (big wood nails). Pics can be seen on http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4292465873 (pics 78 and 79). Fun projects that help you fine tune your hammering techniques. If asked, use visit01 as username and knives as pasword tim |

Very cool, love the snake. Hey, Tim, on the photo titled "Jewels," are those forged from copper or bronze, or are they steel heated treated to those colors. Really neat.
Hey y'all, take a minute and browse Tim's gallery. Some really nice knifesmithing pictured there. For you newcomers, Tim is one of the original forum brothers from Belgium, who I had the privelege of visiting and forging with a couple of years ago. His and Achim's (our other brother from Germany) work is top notch. But do check out the photo gallery--you won't regret it. |

Just for the record, photo 20--the olive wood friction folder, proudly rests in my collection. And a nice piece it is.

Also, the JW reference above is a private joke. JW is my son, for those of you scratching your head and going huh...?
