Colonial Miniature
Last summer I aquired a miniature knife at a yard sale. It is 2-7/8" overall. It is a little bowie knife with a full tang, and bone colored plastic handle slabs riveted on. The guard and butt are incorperated into the slabs. It is marked COLONIAL PROV. USA. It is a cool little knife. I have looked in a few books ect. but have found nothing regarding this kind of factory miniature. I assume it is meant to be a letter opener. If anyone knows anything about it, or knows someone who collects miniatures please let me know. Thanks Rick |
