file

One of my buddies was dumpster diving where he works and found a large file that was covered in grease and grime. Being the kinda guy he is he brought it to me thinking I could make something from it.
I took a wire brush to it. Lo and behold there was a brand new, never used "smooth" file under the grime. Woopie. I have been wanting a smooth file for quite some time. Anyway this is one great file. It is quite large, maybe an inch and a quarter across and 3/8 's thick and 10 or 12 inches long. Heavy. It cuts with its own weight and does a great job. The maker seems to be "Wood Miller" uses wm as a touchmark. No country of origin. Anyone familiar with the brand?

AND When it is dull and worn out, you can make a blade out of it!
