Larry,
Really like your "native oosic" tomahawk. Would love to see it upclose sometime. Did you ever consider making one into a "smoker" with a knik-knik bowl on the back of the head. The handle shaft hole (hardest part) is already there. Just a little micro drilling and plugging, whala! Maybe add a little scrimshaw to round it out. Say, you wouldn't have an extra few of those Tennessee Whistles Sticks laying around that you'd be willing to trade for some osage orange blanks or something would you? I sure would like to try and make a smoking hawk for my personal collection of miniatures. Let me know if interested. Larry - Actually, the smaller the better (as miniatures go). Thanks for the reply.
Tracy - Neat web site. Have you any experience ordering anything from them? Those prices don't appear to be to bad. I'd prefer to trade just cause I like to but sometimes it just doesn't happen. Thanks for the tip. Hey Carl,
Deb is getting ready to send Karen a recipe for turtle cake. I will throw in an Ozark toothpick for you to play with. This one is fairly small one from some local Virginia roadkill. Mark |

Oh I forgot to mention that I have ordered from hideandfur. They were extremely prompt in shipping. I got a snapping turtle skull and an emu leg for Deb on Valentines day a couple of years ago. She got a carved girafee leg bone this year for valentines.

Thanks Mark,
Getting excited yet? Times clicking off pretty fast. I'm turning down a spring walleye trip for Track Rock, (tastey but no fight ). What you building with all them bones anyway? Sounds a little scary to me "Snapping Giraemu"!! Looking forward to see you guys soon.
