I am finally back after my wife was ill

Hello my friends my wife and I have been having a terrible year and I now have time to get back to making knives and my friends here.

Those that do not know my wife almost died in February, she had 35 blood clots in her lungs and is lucky to still be with us. She has fought a long hard battle to get better. She is doing great now almost back to normal.

I too have been plagued with injuries from my day job as a farrier and I too am finally feeling pretty good and glad I can start getting back in the shop.

Well it is great to be back and will take me a long time to catch up on what I have missed.

Hey Mike, I seem to recall hearing something awhile back about you but never did get anymore information. Glad to hear both you and your wife have been able turn the health problems around. Hope things continue to improve!

Hello Mike, Not surprising to find a farrier forging other things than shoes. I'm in Springfield Oregon and am in process of helping my farrier learn more about forging blades. Where abouts are you located? Glad to here you and wife are on the upswing. Had a bad bout of pleuresy after an injury myself many yrs. ago. Lung problems are pretty scary. Hope progress continues.
