Hello all-well I am wet behind the ears here, I have no experience what so ever in knife making and I want to learn. As the old saying goes when the student is ready the master will present himself. Well I am ready! Not sure where to start, I have read several websites and am assuming that a kit would be a good place. Any suggestions? I am eager to learn but want to make sure that I am proceeding in an orderly manner. I appreciate everyones time and suggestions. Have a great Turkey Day!

Doc-
Welcome! You've found a great place to learn! I think strating off with a kit is a good idea - I know a bunch of us did exactly that. The only suggestion I have is hang out in the newbies arena for a while and read the stickies at the top of the forum. The people and the information their are the best you will find anywhere! -Dave __________________ www.ruhligknives.com "The choice isn't between success and failure; it's between choosing risk and striving for greatness, or risking nothing and being certain of mediocrity." - Keith Ferrazi |
