I am far from an expert, but use to collect military knives and edged weapons. Im guessing it is a Nazi (simply from the markings) Naval Officers dress dagger, although I do not belive the grey tassle goes where it is, or is even original to the dagger. "Most" Naval dress daggers handles were white, either bakelite or Ivory. If it is original, it could be worth some coin, Id be sure to have it appraised by an authority on the subject.

I am no expert either, but it looks authentic to me. The grey ball attached to the knife is called a portapee and is usually found on officers daggers I believe.

most of the daggers were made up after the was using left over caches of parts found in the various factories that built them It would take an expert to figure out if yours is original or a made up unit (im no expert)
