Another Scagel

This is a cool knife, but it looks very familiar. The auction smells to high heaven tho. Very cleverly worded. I wonder if the targets are supposed to say, "Hmmm, this guys sounds dumb." "Wonder if he would take a grand or two for it." Never seen so many red flags in one auction. Private auction, guy seems not to know what he has, best offer option. Hmmm, sounds scarey to me. Anyone else get any vibes?

Interesting, Roc. Thanks for posting this. I didn't get to see the knife. Did you snag a picture of it?

The knife was all cut up into half shots. I saved one of the handle, the part that looked like I had seen before. Sorry I did not save them all. I was not expecting it to get pulled so soon.

The crown bump near the butt seems like I have seen it before.

Wild! I vote 'fake' (but I could be wrong) for several reasons but mainly:
1. A Scagel blade with a quench line? I don't think so!
2. If the antler handle is not North American White Tail, Elk or Moose then it's wrong.
3. Where blade meets handle is very wrong.
Additionally, the kris, the pins and the wavy blade are all suspicious.

Thanks Shakudo!
