Bowie trivia

Ever do a search for "Bowie" and get a bazillion hits for "David Bowie"?

Seems Ziggy Stardust and us old guys have more in common than alien aracnophobia.

band name origins

Oh, by the way, which one's Pink?

The one on the left of course. Pink Anderson. The other guy is Floyd Council. The second half of the inspiration for the band name, Pink Floyd. Neat eh?

Getting David's ex-, Angela, is a real danger here in Tucson.

Now that you mention it, sure have. About a month ago, I started searching the Net for info on Bowie knives and made the mistake of just using Bowie as a search word. Learned from my mistake and always included knife with it. And I STILL got some David Bowie links.

I'm not interested in David Bowie, only Bowie knives.

Yeah, that David Boye sure makes a purty knife. His book was the first one I ever read on knifemaking.

That would be a hard choice for me... Are the cousins still making music?

I found my David Boye book and skimmed it again. I was pondering the fact that I use mostly found steel and etch alot. That book must have affected me more than I realize. A great book for breaking into the knifemaking thing using basic tools.

Francines etchings are some of the most beautiful that I have seen and the book covers the how to of it pretty well. Click on the link below.
