Sgian dhu

This is my latest,

a sgian dhu with grenadille handle, stainless (416L) bolster and A2 (wnr 1.2363) blade
I bought the thistle in Scotland from a knifemaker in 1987 and it probably is "german silver" or something similar.

size; handle 9cm (3.7") blade 10cm(4")

Nice one Jan! I like the slightly modern twist to an old design using the square section of the handle but still including some carving. That thistle is a nice twist too.

Any chance of a look at the other side of the blade?

Roger

Thumbs up

I'll second what Roger said. Simple, classic, classy.
