a collaboration for Blade Show (cheetah knife)
Hi everyone! Here's a recently completed and photographed piece that I sure enjoyed working on. It's a collaborate effort between a few people, and I'm thrilled with how it all came together.
Knife maker: Kirby Bletcher Engraver: Chris Malouf Scrim artist: Katherine Plumer (me!) photographer: SharpByCoop.com Chris and I have a table at Blade Show in the engraver's section, and this knife will be there. I look forward to meeting a lot of you at the show! Thanks for looking. -Katherine |

Hi Katherine,
You, Chris and Coop did a fantastic job! Its a good feeling to have had such great artist work on one of my knives. I like the fact that the reverse was left untouched so that a prospective buyer can have it personalized at some point and have some influence on the final product. Thanks very much! Great work! Kirby,
Your knife was a pleasure to handle and admire. It was a fine foundation for this project! Very nicely made. Katherine, your work was impressive--as always. Chris' work is a great compliment as well. Win/win/WIN! Coop |

Hey guys ... yep I'm a little late.
Buddy, Jim ... great meeting both of you at the show and thank you for the kind words. This was my first selective gold inlay knife. This scroll style is something I've been working on specifically with selective inlay in mind. Something fresh with a simple intertwined backbone that conveys both a graceful flow and speed in movement. Something that I think the cheetah compliments very nicely. Many more to come. Thank-you for posting this Katherine. Will call you soon Chris |
