Ed, so sorry to hear this. You, your wife and family are in my thoughts and prayers. Life seems to be too cruel at times. Dan

Well, a bit of an update on Cindy's Mom. She had surgery a week ago today on the colon cancer...they removed 16" of colon, and were able to re-sect it, so that's good news.

They confirmed 3 tumors within her liver, and said there was no surgical solution for those. They wanted to start chemo right away, but Mom refused it. It's killing Cindy that she can't be there with Mom, but after her Dad's passing, she has no sick or vacation days left from work.

Mandi is flying to Florida on Thursday to take care for Mom for a week.

Right now my entire 2012 schedule is in limbo. Not sure if I'll be going to Blade, or teaching at the Hammer-Ins/events I have on the schedule....I've got to be here for Cindy, and be able to take off for Florida if her Mom takes a turn for the worst.

I also wanted to thank everyone again, for the prayers and well wishes. It's great to have such a wonderful group of folks to rely on!

Just got back from putting Mandi on a plane. She's got a week off, and is traveling to Florida to take care of "Mamaw" for a week. Even in the midst of all this, we are really blessed....Cindy couldn't go, and my darling daughter steps up and sacrifices her time and money to be there.

Sometimes it's difficult, but the glass IS half full! Thanks to everyone for your continued prayers and support for our family! Bless you all!

Ed, you raised her right. It is great when I see my kids step up and be just really good people. Prayers are still being sent your way.
