3rd knife made

This is the third knife I have made, just got it done. It is 01, 4 1/2" blade with a maple flooring handle. I do not have any power tools like a belt grinder so the blade was done by hand. I will start in on a sheath next. Any coments welcome, I think with hindsight I would have made the handle a little longer.
Cheers Ron

Nice job for a third attempt. I really like the handle, especially the color in the pin and spacers. I can't help but notice though, the size of the pin compared to the width of the blade as it enters the handle. Does the tang flare back out again to accomodate the large pin?

The blade is forged and has a stick tang. It is right in line with the pins so I drilled the pin holes down to the tang and inserted the pin only as far as the tang. So I had to put a seperate piece of pin on each side. So the pin does not go all the way through, it is for looks and does not really secure the blade any. Thanks for looking.
Cheers Ron.

I really like it.I think the handle to blade size works. That would make a great bird/trout knife.
