I'm thinking of a Randall

Good morning, folks, and "Happy Easter",
I am starting this thread to generate some interest and, hopefully, have a little fun. I am "thinking" about a Randall knife. (This is a "quite-often" happening thing) I ain't gonna tell ya' what kind of Randall I am thinking about. Guessing which one and what options it is dressed up with will be the game.
Starting today and continuing for the next lil' bit, I will field all questions, answering honestly, all inquiries. This Randall I am thinking about is already being made and will be available before the end of the summer!!
So: What's in it for you folks? Well perhaps nothing. Perhaps you will just participate in "your" forum by posting a question or two. Perhaps you will merely learn something about Randall knives. Perhaps you can only help in bringing new friends you haven't met yet into your forum. Perhaps, just perhaps, you will be one of the eligible folks to receive this Randall without a wait growing to close to 5 years.
This may not be of any interest to you, but I am betting it will just be plain "fun"!!! Here's the deal. Post your questions to me, via this thread, and we will expose this Randall, through the process of elimination! We will whittle it down and gain a keen edge over the others by staying sharp and keeping our nose to the grindstone. (I'm sorry, but....I talk to "Moosehead" way, way too often).
Any questions? Please...no emails! Just post 'em up in this thread..I will answer all of your questions. Want a "hint" to get the ball rolling? O.K.: It is "not" a Randall Model #9, "Pro Thrower". O.K. Let's hear from you. Best for now and...Happy Easter, Captain Chris Stanaback

Does it have more than one edge sharpened?
Is micarta the handle material?
Is the blade length more than or less than 6 inches?
Is it a Model #4?

It seems my forum mates already have a jump on the questions so I guess my question would be is the blade over or under 5" and is the thickness 3/16" or 1/4"? That would certainly narrow down the field some.

Happy Easter to all!

The pot's a stirrin'

O.K. Randall freaks,
I see we have got the pot a stirrin'. That's real good, but I'm not going to play 20 questions with a few of you. New rule (that's right: It's "my game", so I can change or make up the rules as I go along): 1 question per member at a time. After we have had a few jump in, you may jump back in. But...Anyway: Here goes:
A) Tom: No, It is "not" a fighter
B) Panhead: Yes, it "is" stainless
C) Cut-N-Run: No, it does "not" have the false edge sharpened
D) Surf: This particular blade measures over 5"
E) Tide: No, it is "not" a Model #7

Alright, now let's hear from some more of ya'....Hint #2. Just because the answer to (D) was the answer that it was, does not mean that it necessarily "had" to be the one that it was!
Curiouser and curiouser. Best, Captain Chris Stanaback

...Is it a Model 3-6 with SS blade, thumb notches, brass single hilt with squared top to fit with the notches, red white and blue spacers, stag handle, thong hole, and radiused brass buttcap in a standard brown sheath?

Is the handle two-toned micarta?

Havin' fun yet??

O.K., Randall freaks,
Are we having fun yet? Interesting questons. Here are a few more "answers".
A) Seuss: "NO"
B) JC: "NO"
C) Moose: "NO", I think. (Did you mean a Captain Chris Stanaback Special, or a "Sportsman's" Bowie?) Both are a part of my official business name.
D) Armed Cit. : "KINDA-SOMEPLACE-SORTA", "NOT EXACTLY"
E) 2 Shot: "NO"
F) Raindog: "NO"
Keep it up, folks. You are way, way behind where I thought you would be by now, but that's a good thing. ( &.."no", the "good thing" comment does "not" mean that this Randall, in any way, is endorsed my Martha Stewart! Best for now, Captain Chris Stanaback
