1095 round bar

Does any one have a source for 1095 round bar in .75 or 1.0 inch. The only thing I can find is 52100 in round bar . I would like to buy 20 feet of it if I could find a source. Thanks much.... Steve

I donno about 1095, but if O1 is acceptable then ToolandDie sell roundstock in sizes up to 1" up to 12' long. Here's a direct link to the O1 roundstock page.

W-1 drill rod is practically the same thing nowadays. Mcmaster.com 's w-1 is excellent stuff. It has more manganese in it than, say Admiral steels, but it just makes it a little deeper hardening (it's tougher in my opinion, too).

Thanks for the info on the W1, but now I need some info on heat treating it. Thats why I thought I would stick to the 1095. Steve
