There are several guys that have 'em Aram....

Michael Clark has a few.., and I have (78) of them so far...(all on my penis) ~~> which may indicate what a stud I am since they are each at least 1.75 inches in length!

In seriousness..., I only have 52..., no....errr....I mean Zero!

What the Hell are you thinking! Geeeeeesh..., they hurt!

Anyway.., talk to Mike.., he is the Tat-Dude, and the rest of us can't afford 'em..., we all owe money on knives!

LOL Pete, thats funny.

Whos Mike?

reason being i was asking because since i am overseas, i was thinking about my first tattoo to be of a bali. But have no idea what kind of a design.
I was thinking maybe some of you might have some cool balising ART pictures that would look cool as a tattoo. Any suggestions?
but i wont get non on my penis, PETE!

Yeah, I remember a HUGE back tat of a bali with a snake coiling around it... classic. Was that Mike?

I've only got the one tattoo, but have been working on getting another of a bali. Since I'm more of a user, it'll have to be a bali-in-hand. What kind of style were you thinking? Solid drawn design, or something that looks more like a "photo" of a bali?

By the way Pete, yes, it hurts, but more like a like hot-sauce kind of hurt. Those bubbly happy chemicals in the brain make it worth it. I was giggling like a schoolgirl after I got mine. I wish I could get tats everyday, without the permenant ink part. 8o

Mike is Mykl Clark, who has 2 bali tats. The other people I know with Bali tats are JW Ashburn and Lanny (USAFSP). Both Andrew (Undertoad) and myself have several tats, just none of balisongs.

Mykl has a BM 46 on his back. In fact, it just about covers his back.
That one had to hurt.

Hmmm...
Alright.

I'm not giving any promises.
But if you get me some photo-references, and examples of the tattoos you're digging AND if I have time (which I have very little of...unfortunately), maybe I can draw up a sketch or some possible concepts? I also need to know where you plan to get the tattoo placed...

Hahahahaha!!!
Not necessarily...it's all in how you work it!!
^_- kidding kidding

In seriousness tho', it'd be nice to know the placement of the tattoo, that way I can take into consideration whether or not I should incorparate a "wrap-around" design if it goes around the arm, or do just a "flat drawing".

That is extremely generous of you Chrissy. I know you have a really tight schedule with school and everything, so no hurry. Besides, im sure i'de be fun for you )~
I was thinking maybe a 42 or a 47 with a T latch, in an almost open position, handles about 1/2 an inch apart. T latch in the down position. I dont want the pins to be showing, kind of like a custom. The blade could be more like the old customs Jody made, i'de be nice. But use your imagination.
I think im gona have this tat on my left shoulder. Not a wrap around, probably blade pointing up to my shoulder. I wonder if you could make it look like the blade is going inside the skin :O) lol. j/k
Oh and i want the butterfly balisong sign to be there for sure. Does that help?
It is gona be my first tat, if i ever decide on something.
Thanks a lot in advance.

here: "size + ability to work it = awesomeness"
clear things up for you nybble?

do you want colors or just a high contrast black and white (your skin color rather instead of white)...?

Aram....I may have a better idea...., but your choice.

I talked to Chrissy today, and since you don't want pins showing.., and like the Tanto idea, I thought I'd take some pictures for her of a Samson Weehawk Tanto, so then she'd have an exact model to work with.

I think the Tat would look better with the skeletonized handles, but I do have one with inserts also...

Shoot me an email.., cause I have a couple of questions??

(1) I assume your reference to 1/2" open means a V-Shape.., and that 1/2" would be down at the tang.

(2) I assume that because you said you want to see the butterfly logo, and if it was 1/2" open on the latch end, you wouldn't be able to see it (or the blade shape).

(3) When you say "Latch in the down poistion".., do you mean down pointing inward toward the blade.., or outward???

Also.., if you want to do it with a 47.., I have a bunch of those too.., so I can send her pictures of that, but I think when you are going "permanent".., go with the best..

Talk soon....
