Jack knife / trapper suggestion...

Hi,

I've always been wondering "what all these old-style folders are about...". And now I'm closer and closer to take a decision to get my first jack knife or trapper. So, what would you suggest for up to $400? What should be my starting point??

You'll get as many answers as there are members. I have owned and handled Don Morrow's dual-bladed trapper, and for the price he asks, I can't see anyone giving you a *better* value. I thought it was near flawless, and I've handled a lot of nice knives. Certainly well-worth his asking. Look him up www.morrowknives.com

Another knifemaker who consistently offers good work of this variety is Tony Huffman. I don't know his website, but look him up in Google.

Good choice of knife, any way you go. This is a growing area for customs.

Who else?

Coop
