Dan E?

I am looking for some help on finding the value of a knife I own. It is a Custom Fighter made by Dan Birlick (sp) With his signature Dan E, on the blade. I have not been able to find any info on him. I know he was a custom kinfe maker in Minnesota during the eighties and early ninties, but then he died and I have no more information. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Bruce...

Hi Bruce,

Welcome to the CKDF!

Dan Birlick? Hmmmm... Not even a glimmer of familiarity. That said, I would probably hedge my guess that your knife, even if *very* well-made and designed is still worth less than $500 and more than likely less. I hope I'm wrong, but unless a maker has somehow found the limelight in his career, the knives are simply not as valued.

And then a picture helps tell the story much better, too. Send me one and I'll post it for you.

Coop
