Number 5
This skinner is my fifth finished knife. It was developed working closely with the client. We talked extensively and spent a lot of time studying his skinning style. It is something of a departure from my typical design style, but at least I got to include my favorite handle design.
The client saw it this evening, and he loved it! The sheath is forthcoming. 4.5" blade 8.75" OA length 1095 mirror polished, FC etched, then dry buffed with a raked medium wheel tapered tang hand filed and sharped serrations sharpened upper edge jigged bone handle dark red liners SS pins and tube __________________ Andy Garrett https://www.facebook.com/GarrettKnives?ref=hl Charter Member - Kansas Custom Knifemaker's Association www.kansasknives.org "Drawing your knife from its sheath and using it in the presence of others should be an event complete with oos, ahhs, and questions."
