Apex Final

The final Jinn knife is finished! Apex has a blade of 2 bars twisted 1084, 15N20 and nickel and 2 bars cable damascus all twisted together from a square. The spacer is 4 bar twisted of the 1084/15N20/nickel material. The body is mild steel inlayed with Muonionalusta meteorite, some of the nicest meteorite I've ever handled. Additional inlays include mokume and black lip pearl. The gearing is brass and steel with spring loaded governor weights covered by abalone. The eye on the blade also has a very nice abalone inlay; I worked to get just the right colors and fire for this eye - the photo doesn't show it but the eye sparks. All the steel/damascus parts have been etched and blued - the body is a very nice matte blue finish.

Thanks for watching,
Charles

That thing is too cool... The exposed gears are a nice touch. Excellent work.

Congratulations Charles! It?s really impressive!

Would it be too much to ask for another video of the opening cicle? With closes to the gears please

I want to show it around to some Brazilian friends!

Thank you!

Charles, Apex is just as I imagined and hoped it would be.

Thanks for such an interesting information about apex. What is about such on the boosting of this? It will be one of the best solutions to work with such a software. And to enjoy the best variants of game play.
