Questions about the 1st Hibben Bowie Knife
What are some cost estimates for the 1st Hibben bowie knife ever made 1965?
It was given to Dave Ensign in Manti, Utah by Gil Hibben and his brother Joe and has remained in the family till this day. Here is a great article about this time in American Knife history. http://www.iknifecollector.com/profi...in-knife-world Please give us your thoughts, we understand this knife has never ever been to market. It is owned by the grandson of Dave Ensign. In a collection of Gil Hibbens prototypes. This collection is very rare. The fact that these prototypes were given personally to Dave Ensign. in hopes of supporting and financing the Hibben brothers first company is profound. |
