Been Busy - Tactical-series "Compact"
T-SERIES COMPACT
Another version of my T-series (Tactical Series) I am starting up. The options are in O1 or D2 at this stage. FYI, When my current supply of D2 runs out, I?ll be switching to CPM S30V. Specs ? 9inch OAL, 4inch edge. D2 tool steel, 7/32inch thickness. flat ground, machine satin finished. Chisel-ground swedge. Tall convex edge. Full tapered tang. Tubular brass fittings with multiple hidden pins. A very simple clean design, IMHO. ?Tiger? Canvas Micarta handles. (I make these by using tan Canvas Micarta, texturing it, staining it black & bead blasting it.) These handles grip back hard when wet. I wet the handles in the 2nd pic to show the colours; otherwise its rather dull and matte. Sheath will be a simple Kydex multiposition sheath. The blade shape looks wicked, IMHO, but it?s a spear-point with a downward rake, that?s all. Thanks for looking and feedback always appreciated. Cheers. Jason. __________________ JASON CUTTER BLADEART Jason Cutter @ Dr Kwong Yeang Knifemaker, Australia (Matthew 10.16) |
