Of the books that are available, which one(s) have the best over view of all the different type folders and the most detailed for all the different types? |

The Terzuola bokk is THE book for linerlocks...very good. How to make folders" is good for lockbacks and "how to make multiblade folders" is good for both evolving lockbacks and to make multiblades...thats all I know and I got them all.. |

The Working Folding Knife by Steve Dick is a very good book on various types of using folders.Theres also an old book thats probably out of print,"The Gun Digest Book of Folding Knives"by Jack Lewis and B.R.Hughes.I think it was published in 1977.You may be able to get it on Bruce Voyles site www.jbrucevoyles.com

Mike, definitely get the Bob Terzuola book. It is a great book even if you were going to make lockbacks. Lots of high quality pictures and important details.

folder books
1. bob t'zulla's is a top notch book.. its always avail around here
if one cant find a copy in there area. 2. pocketknife repair is a great little book.. lots of oldtimers knowledge on repairs most of the info in the older books is nothing surprising.. as its all common basic info.. bobs book is probably the only hi tech production publication out there on how to build a modern folder with any new or indepth info in it.. ...me.. ill stick with slipjoints |
