Magazine Article
I received my August copy of Advanced Materials and Processes from the American Society for Metals and Materials (ASM website: www.asminternational.org) and what do I find but a nice article on swordsmithing. Prominantly displayed is work by Kevin Cashen, Randal Graham and Richard Furrer. Probably nothing there that the people who visit this site have not seen before but it does represent an acknowledgement that swordsmithing uses some advanced technology that metalheads like me can appreciate. I cannot post the article since that would violate a copyright. However, I did download a pdf file of the article and would be able to share it with a few people via email.

Sorry Ray, this is the first I have heard of the article being out there. But I do look forward to visiting with you at the hammer-in. I plan to be there a little after noon on Thursday.

Big congrats Kevin!! You and I have had a couple back and forths on Bladeforums in months past. I wish I could see the article. Anyone being able to make a sword can make anything correctly.

Hey Quenchcrack I PM'ed you with my email address but it's the first time I've used that feature on this site so I'm not entirely sure it went through. Thanks.
