This one is almost entirely made from wire.
Triple composit blade with a nickel twist in the middle billet.
Cable damascus guards with twisted wire inlay, and threaded cable damascus pommel.
There is a wooden form under the handle(rosewood) of twisted wire. The sheath is three different kinds of snake skin in the inlays.
It is purse size and has a smaller handle to match the size.
Delicate but deadly.

Thanks guys,
This is just one of many I finished up for the SOS show this weekend. I'll try to share more in the days to come.
I don't often post stuff here, but you guys seem to like looking at this kind of stuff, and I love making the"one of a kind stuff", so when I can, I'll post more,OK?

Purse size is about 8" or 9" worth,OAL.
That would fit nicely in a purse,ect...

Do you want to see daggers, Bowies, odd working knives, or what?
(I don't want to come back later and read 9 "or whats", OK?)

I try to make quite a variety so let me know what you want to see. I don't want this to look like my web page or anything, so help me be accurate with what I post. Thanks.
BTW this one has not made it to my web page yet, we will update that after the show.
You guys have a great day today and remember to bless someone.
Random acts of kindness are NO accident.
Be blessed!

Geno-

I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say:

You can post here every day and we will never tire of looking at and admiring your inspiring work. This is exactly the sort of thing we love to see, and learn from as well.

Please, by all means give us more!,,,and just as often as you like.

Dennis

Yeah Baby!

LOL
Thanks Dennis,
I make a LOT of knives to support a large family here, and I don't want to steel anyone's thunder here in the display case.
It is basically for you guys to show off your works.
I sometimes post to offer a variety, but I have a web page for anyone wanting to see more of my work. I don't want to tie this great forum up. It is a wonderful tool to show stuff off, but I'm a pro and don't want to monopolize or intimidate anyone either.
I love to see someone's first knife, ect...
It takes a lot of guts to publically post early works, and being put in the middle of a professinal gallery might tend to cause someone to shy away.
This is not a PRO GALLERY.
We have web pages for that.
I offer to share something different as eye candy and to inspire young makers.
I give brief descriptions, and explain techniques to help others achieve similar results. This one has a nice twisted wire handle.
I am a teacher here, not a show hog,OK?
I appreciate your invitation, but I'm reluctant to flood this place with my works.(It's a flattering thought though)
I already spend a lot of time at this keyboard every day doing what I do. As you know, the computer is the hard part for me.
I am much more at home in the shop.
Thanks for the invite though, I am honored at your enthusiasm.
Ya'll have a great day and be blessed.

Gene,
Wonderful piece of art!
I'd love to know what goes on in your head while creating something so well composed.

Boy Howdy Tim,
That's one I'v never been asked before.LOL

My senior partner(Jesus) and I go out to the shop every morning.
I start off with a prayer to work safe and to create something that would glorify our Father in Heaven, that I might do something to draw attention to that Center Cross logo and cause someone to think of Him.(a dual purpose for me)

You know those voices inside your head? Mine are very loud sometimes, and they say,"Hey, what if we ......", and the creation is born.
Sometimes I argue that I don't know how to do something, and He shows me. Then I get a little better each time I try it.
After 20 years + of doing this, You can see the results.
Thanks for asking.
